Enhanced Intrinsic Yield Capacity

A central goal is to maximize the yield of plants while minimizing the inputs. The maximum yield of most crop plants under optimal conditions is far less than that obtained by the most highly productive species. We are therefore taking a number of strategies to increase intrinsic crop yield potential including via the enhancement of photosynthetic output and enhancement of growth rate.
