Achieving energy security, reversing climate change, and creating new jobs is possible with the right combination of conservation, sound public policy, and technology and innovation. This transition from a hydrocarbon economy to a renewable economy will contribute significantly to rural economic development, particularly in the eastern half of the US. In collaboration with strong partners, including BP and Monsanto, Mendel is a leader in the advancement of feedstocks and related services to enable this historic transition.
